Biography of the Consul General:

Fatih Topçu graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Letters, Department of English Language and Literature, in 1997.

Beginning from December 9, 1997, he worked at the General Directorate of the Press and Information as interpreter/translator, until he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as of October 15, 1998.

He completed his military service in Amasya in 1999.

He held various positions at the Ministry's headquarters and the Embassies in Tripoli, the Holy See, and the Consulate General in London.

He also served as the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Mashhad between 1 September 2019 - 1 September 2023, in his latest overseas post.

Following the completion of his assignment at the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry, he took up his duties at the Consulate General of Türkiye in Prizren on 15th of September 2025.
